  • Undergraduate Curriculum requirements:
    • General Education Requirements (38 hours in total): COMMUNICATION (9 hours), HISTORY (6 hours), HUMANITIES AND/OR FINE ARTS (9 hours), NATURAL SCIENCES (8 hours), and SOCIAL/BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES (6 hours).

    • Major: 48 hours in the department.
      • Mathematics core: 21 hours.

        • STAT 3150, MATH 4990,
      • Actuarial Science courses: 18 hours.
        • ACSI 4140, 4220, 4230, 4330
        • 2 courses from ACSI 4240, 4340, 4630, 4640.
      • Supporting courses in Statistics (9 hours):
        • STAT 4200, 4190, 4320, and two electives.
    • Business and Computer Science Courses (18 hours):
      • Business Courses: ACTG 3000, ECON 2410, 2420, and FIN 3610.
      • CSCI 1170 and another Computer Science or Information Systems course.
    • Minor in the Jennings A. Jones College of Business is required. Insurance minor strongly suggested.
