Dr. Hart received his Ph D from
Vanderbilt University in 1991 and has been a member of the MTSU faculty since
that time. His research interests include ordered algebraic structures and
denotational semantics. Dr. Hart has a cat named Buggs and about 100 potted
plants (which he has not yet taken to naming).

he worked as an instructor at UT-Martin and Tennessee Tech. He came to MTSU
in the fall of 1971; since that time, Dr. Lea has also been a visiting associate
professor at UT Knoxville. His research interests lie in both the algebraic
and topological properties of partially ordered sets.
