How would a minor in LAS help me?
According to the 2000 Census Hispanic community in the U.S.A is the biggest minority group. The U.S is the third country where Spanish is more spoken after Mexico and Colombia Hispanics are approximately 35 million people with a different culture whose language is Spanish. A minor in LAS represents an excellent opportunity to work with them in all fields, knowing who they are and their way of thinking. This will challenge your conceptions, enrich your imagination and deepen your understanding of the world.

How can a minor in LAS aid me in Graduate Studies?
Since the minor stresses development of analytical skills, higher order reasoning, and clarity and precision in the expression of oral and written ideas, your foundation for advanced studies will be firm.
