We have begun to learn about reading your textbooks effectively. The purpose of your trip is to discover other ways to improve the way you read and mark your textbook. Many of us highlight what we are reading. Why do you highlight something? Because it's important, right? Right, highlighting tells you at some later point that the information was important. What it doesn't tell you is WHY OR WHAT MAKES that piece of information was important!

The more systematically you read and mark you textbook, the more useful your marking becomes.
