Steven Livingston

Senior Research Associate Dr. Steven Livingston is a professor of political science at Middle Tennessee State University. He edits the BERC's Global Commerce: Tennessee and the International Economy, the recipient of the 2003 Association for University Business and Economic Research Award for Excellence in Publications. He has written extensively on international trade issues, American public policy, and foreign affairs.
Dr. Livingston has been awarded the Pew Charitable Trust Faculty Fellowship in International Affairs. He is a Professeur Invité at the Université de Caen and the Site Universitaire de Cherbourg. He has received grants from the National Science Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the Tennessee Valley Authority, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, among others. Dr. Livingston received his Ph.D. in Government from Harvard University, where he was an associate of the Harvard Center for International Affairs.
