Meeting Programs -- 1989-1993
First Annual Meeting
January 14, 1989
Garland Hall, Vanderbilt University, Nashville
The general schedule for the first meeting included "Current Research
Reports... 10 minute informal presentations of what is going on
archaeologically in the state [and] Topical Discussions... at the pleasure
of the assembled group" (Fielder 1988). No specific agenda was set for
the meeting, and no records were maintained as to the types of
presentations made.
Second Annual Meeting
January 20, 1990
Garland Hall, Vanderbilt University, Nashville
The general schedule for the second meeting included "Current Research
Reports," a legislative update on the change in the criminal code that
affect archaeology, a presentation of the effeect of public records access
laws on statewide site survey files, reburial, public archaeology,
funding, and other matters. Again, no formal records were kept of current
research reports.
Third Annual Meeting
